Finally, I think EA did an excellent job with the various elements of presentation with Path to the Draft. Yes, there were cutscenes and similar situations in previous Mut 25 coins games. However, this year's cutscenes seemed more natural. They were more natural and communicated the story in simple cutscenes with your friends or an interview in front by the press, or even an appearance on local radio. EA is determined to give players a great experience. Even though several of the previous game modes featured similar mechanics, United We Stand does better than the previous ones.

This could seem like a more general complaint however there are a lot of problems concerning Madden 25's gameplay as it is.

One of the biggest problems is that defenses are significantly behind. A lot of times, quarterbacks of the opposition emulate Patrick Mahomes or Dan Marino. They are nearly perfect, their only mistake being an throw that never got any chance. The shortcomings in Madden will likely remain however I'll leave it at that and refer you to Bob's review for an in-depth discussion of the fundamental defensive problems.

What I'm focusing on is poor gameplay when playing in FotF mode. For instance, at the beginning of FotF you'll be offered the option to enhance a few aspects of your player's abilities. I chose to increase his speed. In lieu of offering me the chance to do drills to develop my player's abilities I hit the button. Just like that, my player received an increase of 5 points in speed. However, that's not all. I also got the Nike endorsement immediately. The legend that I had from playing Madden of olden times came from the many games where I'd be able to spend hours trying to perfect drills, and ultimately get the gold coin.

The mini-games may not need to be as extravagant, but having cheap madden coins players do the 40-yard race to increase their speed or improve their draft position should not be a novel idea. There are many better options for EA to implement this. It's been the case before, they've been able to achieve this feat with great success but then completely abandon the concept, re-invent the idea, only to fall short.
