Another recent example is the passing based on skill in Madden 25
What I'm looking for is more unique cadences, and more distinctive throwing movements particularly in relation to new rookies. There's only some things QBs can do as there's some things it is possible to do with the pitchers of Mut 25 coins. They'll need higher quality, more original throwing movements, and more effective hand/ball physics once the ball is released from the hand.
For example, get the QBs to move to throw, and sound good for a moment. This will go much further than most people imagine I'm sure. The gameplay aspect is more important, but on that identical track CM Hooe has also mentioned snap counting. We've heard unique snap counts from the game before, however CM Hooe is looking to get more of these audio assets in the front of gameplay:
Create game mechanics around the concept of snap count. As well as the play call, you may also make snap counts in the huddle. You can also add Superstar abilities to snap counts. "Commanding Voice" helps prevent offensive false start, "Hard Count" increases penalties for defensive offsides "Megaphone" stops audibles, pre-snap calls for adjustment from being lost during road games, and so on. etc.
I'd like to close by saying that the majority of this article is about the quarterback. However, there's an AI factor that is important in this regard. CM Hooe highlights one of the elephants in the room, noting that AI QBs have to make use of more playing in the game (users have more to offer than AI, in terms of pre-snap readings and other things right now).
The point I was trying to make regarding the CPU was that they do not perform the buy mut coins manual tasks. The CPU is governed by whatever Mike is using for OL IDs, is not able to initiate the pass-blocking hot route to an end or back end, it is not able to call slide protection (it depends on the OL performing that post-snap action in reliance on the Mike ID in the formation set) and so on.
